How to use YooChats

YooChats — User Guide

Welcome to YooChats, a next‑generation social chat platform built on Grupo Chat Script with the ObeyTrack module, Text‑to‑Speech (TTS) messaging, and full creator monetization via monthly paid groups & tips. This guide will help you master every feature efficiently.

1) Getting Started

1.1 Create an Account

  • Visit the YooChats homepage and click Sign Up.
  • Choose your login method:
    • Email & Password (confirm via email), or
    • Google Login (OAuth 2.0).
  • Set your display name and @username (unique).
  • Accept Terms of Service and Privacy Policy to complete registration.

1.2 Log In

Use your registered credentials or Google account. If Two‑Factor Authentication (2FA) is active, enter your verification code to access your account.

1.3 Minimum Requirements

  • Supported browsers: Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari (latest 2 versions).
  • Enable Microphone for voice messages and Audio for TTS playback.
  • Recommended: stable internet ≥ 2 Mbps for smooth group chats.

2) Profile & Settings

2.1 Edit Profile

Navigate to Profile → Edit to update your avatar, banner, bio, and links. You can also choose your preferred language and time zone.

2.2 Privacy & Security

  • Private Account: Approve followers manually.
  • Message Requests: Restrict DMs to followers or no one.
  • 2FA & Session Management: Enable additional security and review active sessions.

2.3 Notifications

Adjust push, email, or in‑app notifications for messages, tips, and mentions under Settings → Notifications.


3) Messaging & Groups

3.1 Direct Messages

Start a private chat via New Chat. Send text, emoji, stickers, GIFs, images, or files. Hold the mic icon to record voice notes.

3.2 Group Chats

Join or create public and paid groups via Explore → Groups. Group roles include Owner, Moderator, and Member.

3.3 Threaded Replies & Mentions

Reply to specific messages to keep discussions organized. Use @username to tag and notify users.


4) Text‑to‑Speech (TTS)

4.1 Playback

Click the 🔊 icon beside a message to hear it. Adjust system volume if needed.

4.2 Settings

  • Choose your preferred voice and language.
  • Customize speed and pitch under Settings → Accessibility → TTS.
  • Enable Auto‑Read for new messages or mentions only.

5) ObeyTrack Module

5.1 Overview

ObeyTrack adds task tracking, rules, and accountability tools for DMs or groups. Ideal for structured communities, learning, or productivity routines.

5.2 Tasks

  • Create new tasks with title, frequency, due time, and required evidence.
  • Submit completions with proof (photo, text, or video).
  • Track progress and streaks in the Progress tab.

5.3 Rules

Define behavioral rules and automatic consequences such as warnings, penalties, or muting. All actions are logged in the audit trail for transparency.


6) Creator Monetization

6.1 Enable Creator Mode

Activate in Profile → Creator. Add payout details, verify identity (KYC), and accept the Creator Terms.

6.2 Paid Groups

  • Set monthly subscription prices and optional free trial.
  • Control which posts are paywalled.
  • Share teaser previews to attract subscribers.

6.3 Tips

Allow users to tip your posts or profile. Set suggested tip levels and track income from Dashboard → Tips.


7) Safety & Moderation

Respect all community rules. No harassment, hate, or illegal content. Adult‑oriented groups must be age‑gated and comply with law.

  • Report via More → Report.
  • Block or Mute users to control contact.
  • Moderators can kick/ban users, enable Slow Mode, and set keyword filters.

8) Accessibility

  • Full TTS support for messages and mentions.
  • Keyboard navigation for message composer.
  • High‑contrast themes and adjustable font sizes.
  • Alt text encouraged for all uploaded media.

9) Troubleshooting

Audio or TTS Issues

Check browser permissions, install system voices if required, and refresh after changes.

Payment or Access Problems

Update card details in Settings → Billing. Confirm your account matches the payment credentials.

Task Submissions

Ensure required proof is attached and submission status shows Completed.


10) Support

  • In‑App: Help → New Ticket.
  • Knowledge Base: linked in footer.
  • Urgent Safety Reports: use in‑chat Report feature immediately.
